Jamis Critter
Every Jamis youth bike uses size-specific items like grips, saddles and cranks that enhance comfort and control by providing the best possible bike fit. We focus on designing frames with low stand-over’s to take much of the awkwardness out of getting on board and dismounting after. We trim as much weight as we can with lightweight aluminum frames on many of the youth models and use aluminum parts where possible (the limiting factor here is working within a youth bike appropriate price point) to work towards that make-it-as-light-as-possible goal.
Strider 12 Pro
A little dirt never hurt anyone and a child who wants to go fast and get dirty needs the right tools. We create kids who have the moxie to say, “Bring it on. Challenge me. I’m ready, world.” The Strider 12 Pro Balance Bike is the bike of choice for kids who don’t just want to go fast but need to go fast… the rest of the world will catch up later, if it can.
Strider 12 Sport
We believe in raising kids who excel at life and always have the courage to tackle whatever comes next. That’s why the Strider 12 Sport Balance Bike has become the ultimate vehicle for kids as young as 18 months. Your tiny-legged toddler is ready to ride, thirsting for freedom, and craving adventure. Give your child the bike that set the world on fire and encourages them to experience the thrill of riding while developing confidence and coordination…before they’re even out of diapers.
Strider 12 Classic
The budget-friendly Strider Classic comes equipped with our no-flat tires, which are ready to take any punishment that your little renegade can dole out. The lightweight, steel frame was specifically constructed for child-level durability (that’s the highest level of durability BTW). Oh yeah, it also has the lowest seat height of any balance bike (28-40 cm [11-16 in.]) on the market, so it fits an inseam of 30-43 cm (12-17 in.). Why? Because those little legs need to perfectly fit the bike they’re riding to build up that confidence. The Strider Classic is a great, unembellished choice for those that want to jump in the pool but aren’t quite ready to cannonball. If you are ready to cannonball and make a splash, we recommend the Strider 12 Sport (it’ll grow with your kiddo even longer).
Specialized Hotwalk
Starting early is the key to teaching your young ones the joys of bicycle life, and there's no better way to do so than with our Hotwalk. It's for kids 18 months to 4 years old*, and it's designed for less crashes and more smiles to make learning to ride a bike as easy as can be.
With no pedals or gears, we made the Hotwalk to help your little ripper find their balance by making it as easy as possible to put their feet down. In fact, scooting around with their feet is how the bike moves (outside of gravity), so they'll get used to the feeling of riding without much of the risk. And with a redesigned frame, the new Hotwalk features a lower standover height to accommodate little riders, as well as a longer wheelbase for more stable scooting.
And rather than sticking to a traditional kids' bike sizing style that uses age, we've based our sizes upon inseam. Different kiddos are different sizes at different ages, so inseam solves the "this doesn't look like it'll fit" problem. In other words, if your toddler has an inseam that's between 15 to 18 inches, they'll be able to comfortably ride the Hotwalk and still put both feet flat on the ground.
Even better for you, there isn't much that can break should the bike hit the deck on the pump track, so there's less maintenance than with a "traditional" bike—like airless tires that'll never go flat and an assembly of only two bolts. That's right, you get parental hero status, and they have the time of their lives while learning to ride. Win-win.
*Don't know their inseam (what parent really does)? *The Hotwalk is appropriate for toddlers 18 months to 4 years old. Of course, we recommend flexing some parental discretion on whether your kid has the motor skills necessary to operate a bike.
Specialized Riprock Coaster 12
With our Riprock Coaster 12, riding gets boiled down to its simplest element—fun. And to make sure of it, we designed the bike with tons of cool features that are easy for your little ones to use, like a coaster brake for simple stopping, wide 12x2.3" tires that increase stability and confidence, and tough components that will stand up to years of abuse. It's the perfect bike for your little ripper to start getting out on the trail with—we just wish that we had one when we were kids.

Strider 16 Sport
First, we changed the world with the Strider Bike. That wasn’t enough. We wanted to do more because we believe everyone, regardless of their current skill or ability, should have the chance to ride a bike. Why? Because it’s awesome. More importantly, riding a bike changes lives. We believe that deep down to the soft gooey center of our being. That’s why we developed the Strider 16 and Strider 20 Sport Balance Bikes. These no-pedal models break down the overwhelming task of learning how to ride a bike into a safe and natural progression. If your kiddo can walk, they can now join everyone else in the neighborhood as they ride bikes and grin from ear to ear.

Kids love to ride, but they also grow like weeds, which always leaves parents in a bit of a conundrum: Do you splurge on your child's bike when they’ll likely grow out of it in a few years? That's why we made our Hotrock 20—a well-priced and designed bike with plenty of gear range to tackle the neighborhood hills, and enough front-end travel to ride beginner's trails confidently.
The Hotrock also features a lightweight and tough 20-inch A1 premium aluminum frame that's designed to take a hit while they find their legs on the pump track. Chatter and bumps, meanwhile, are handled by the coil-sprung SR Suntour fork's 40mm of travel.
Then there are a whole host of other components that are plenty tough enough to stand up to your little ripper, so you can rest assured that you'll be spending more time riding with your kid and less time waiting in line at the repair counter.
